French Mirecourt Courturieux Violin (OV24113)

"French Mirecourt Courturieux Violin (OV24113)" has been added to your basket.

Length of Back:  350mm)

This violin was made in Mirecourt  around 1930, most likely in the Laberte Workshops.  It is a Courturieux Model, finished in a golden-brown spirit varnish.

It has a warm, sweet, resonant tone with good volume and would suit an advancing student in the classical or traditional genre.

It is set up with Spirocore Strings and Wittner Tailpiece and is easy to play.

A lovely violin awaiting a new owner!  Perfect for a player of smaller stature due to its back length.

It comes in a new lightweight case.
