Mirecourt Violin - Stradivari model 1920s. (OV24018) —SOLD—
Length of Back: 355mm
This violin was made in the 1920s in one of the workshops in Mirecourt, France. It is based on the Stradivari design and is finished in a Amber-Red varnish. It is set up with Helicore Strings and a Wittner tailpiece.
The violin plays with a resonant, sweet tone with plenty of volume across all four strings. It has been well played throughout the years and has some chips and scratches to the varnish, especially on the top. (There are no cracks and it is in good structural condition).
A very easy violin to play! ideal for a committed student in either classical or traditional genres.
It comes supplied in a lightweight case.
