Mirecourt, French Violin labelled V. Heureaux (OV24095)

This violin was most likely made in the Laberte-Humbert workshops in the 1920-30s. It is of good tonal quality and made from well-selected tonewoods. It has a good one piece piece maple back and is finished in a golden-brown varnish, typical of many Mirecourt instruments.
The violin has a warm and resonant tone with good volume and balance throughout. Suitable for a committed classical student or Irish/Scottish Traditional Fiddler.
It is in good condition and is set up with a Wittner tailpiece and Evah Pirazzi strings.
Comes supplied in a new lightweight case.
