Mirecourt Maginni Violin 1940s (OV24093)

This violin was made in the French town of Mirecourt and is based on the famous Maginni model. It features the characteristic double purfling, elongated F holes, and is finished in a golden-brown spirit varnish. It is labelled internally with the Maginni Label of Brescia referencing ’Plouchart’ Blois.
It has a warm and sweet tone with good volume and would suit an advancing student in the classical or traditional genre.
It is set up with Helicore Strings and Wittner Tailpiece and is easy to play.
A nicely made violin suitable for traditional fiddlers or advancing classical students.
It comes in a new lightweight case.
