Mirecourt, France Courturieux Violin (Ov24112)

This violin was made in Mirecourt around 1930, most likely in the Laberte Workshops. It is a Courturieux Model, finished in a golden-brown spirit varnish featuring a striking two piece maple back of maple.
It has a warm, sweet, resonant tone with great volume and sonority. Perfect for a committed student in the classical or traditional genre.
It is set up with Helicore Strings and Wittner Tailpiece and is easy to play.
It comes in a new lightweight case.
