Pierre Hel Atelier 1930. (Labelled Imitation J.B Vuillaume) OV25021

This violin is from the Pierre Hel workshops in Lille 1930.  The maple back is of one piece with attractive flame and is finished in an amber, orange varnish.   It is labelled as ann ‘imitation of JB Vuillaume’ and nicely constructed throughout.   

The violin produces a large warm tone and it plays very nicely.  It is set up with a Wittner tailpiece and Evah Pirazzi Strings.   
A lovely violin in all respects.
