This violin was made in Mirecourt, France and contains a label referencing ‘Bernadel, pupil of Lupot’.
It features a nicely flamed two piece maple back and is finished with an amber-reddish varnish. It has excellent tone woods used in both back and front. (Some signs of wear, commensurate with age, as can be seen in photos). A really nicely carved scroll shows signs of high quality workmanship!

It possesses an full and resonant tone with good volume and response across the strings.
A nice instrument to play and in excellent condition, it is set up with Helicore Strings and a Wittner Tailpiece.
